In an effort to assure that constituents of the 4th district are qualified to vote in the July 18th election, the office of Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney Is announcing that the Georgia License on Wheels (GLOW) bus will be issuing licenses and state identification cards at three Congressional events in the 4th district.
The GLOW bus will be present at District Day Saturday May 20th, at the Lithonia City Hall, 2614-c max Cleland Blvd. Lithonia, GA 30058, from 9:00am to 3:00pm.
The GLOW bus will also be present at the Hip Hop Power Shop, June 10th at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center, 5616 Memorial Drive Decatur GA 30083 from 9:00 am to 3:00pm, and at District Day, Saturday June 17th at the Flat Shoals Library, 4022 Flat Shoals Pkwy. Decatur GA, 30034 from 11:00am to 3:00PM.
If you are obtaining a state issued ID for voting purposes, there is no charge. For information on what is required to obtain a Georgia Identification Card, go to http://www.dds.ga.gov/ for the Georgia Department of Drivers Services website.
